Actually, hardware is defined as the parts of a computer which you can easily touch or you can say the physical parts of a computer are come under the hardware section. At present, computers are used in almost every field. So, there is a great scope for computer hardware jobs. Some of the computer hardware are in embedded system and not seen by the normal users. Many people have knowledge about computer software and also have a good command over computer skills. But for becoming a computer software engineer one must have to do a professional course in hardware.

Computer hardware included all the digital circuitry and some of the computer hardware parts are as mother board, power supply, video display controller, floppy disk drive, hard disk drive, monitors, cables, keyboard, mouse, circuit boards, systems, printers, sound card, removable media writer etc. At present, the people who want to make their career in the hardware field are not too large. In 2004, there were about 77,000 jobs are available for computer hardware. Computers hardware engineers are much similar to electronics engineer. Because both have to do hardware related work. But the work of a computer hardware engineer is limited only to computers. As for all engineering jobs, there is a bachelor’s degree is needed. But you can also do a two or three year’s hardware course in computers to become a computer hardware engineer.
A computer hardware engineer is supposed to have a complete theoretical and practical knowledge about each and every hardware part of a computer. If you have complete knowledge about computer hardware parts then you can also start your own business. The companies which manufacture computers require computer hardware engineers at a large scale because it is the computer hardware engineer who assembles the different hardware parts of a computer to make it in a working condition. Computer hardware engineers are the ones which make the computers because until and unless computer parts are not assembled, it is of no use.
